About Me

First of all, I'd like to thank you for visiting my website. My name is Chris and I am a Professional Magician in Orlando, FL. It has been a dream of mine since a very young age to perform magic and illusions for a living, and I am finally realizing that dream. I peform at all types of venues. I'd love to talk to you about performing at your event, so please contact me.

The Younger Years

I've always had an interest in magic, as I'm sure many kids do. My Mom would tell me stories about how she did magic shows with her brothers for the kids in their neighborhood when she was growing up. I would see David Copperfield on TV and watch in awe. I was probably about 12 years old when I got my first magic kit. My parents picked it up for me at a yard sale for a couple of bucks. That was the beginning.

When I was around 14 my parents found out about a beginner "magic class" offered over the summer. My brother and I signed up and we learned some basic card tricks and a few sleights. After that, I was constantly showing tricks to my family. I even made a "magic show" home video with my younger brother. It is pretty funny to go back and watch that now. Here are some clips from it. :)

    

By the end of high school, I knew quite a few tricks and was well known for doing them. One of my teachers liked them so much that she would have me show a trick to the class once a week. My spanish teacher and I traded a couple of card tricks. He had a really great one that I still love today. After all of this, college came along and I didn't have much time for magic... but that would change soon enough.

More Recent Times

For the last few years I have seriously got into practicing and performing again. Although I am an engineer by trade, more people know me as a magician. I must say that I appreciate all of the great work out there by magician's such as Paul Wilson, Michael Ammar, Paul Harris, Greg Wilson, Jay Sankey, Richard Sanders, and so many more! I couldn't have gotten here without their expert teaching.
